Menu – Week 2

Allergens: This part was very scary for me. See page here with resources on how to introduce allergens. 

Salt: Do not add salt to season their food. There is no need. If they have a bite of your food chances are it is already salted. Millions of opinions out there, they’ll get it eventually and their tastes and kidneys still developing.

Monday

Cannellini Bean + Steamed Broccoli

Cannellini beans – with no salt in BPA free box (available at whole foods) 

Steam broccoli florets and place tree side down to encourage your little person to eat.

Tuesday

Steamed and Puree Asparagus and Avocado

Wednesday

Steam broccoli florets and place tree side down to encourage your little person to eat.

Thursday

Steamed and Puree Asparagus and Avocado 

Egg Omelet cut into strips

Whisk whole egg, cook with olive oil, when done cut into strips and see if your little person will grab and eat

Friday

Steamed broccoli and Avocado

Introduce Salmon.  No smoked salmon or raw salmon. Wild caught is the best. Prefer to bake with no oil as steaming loses the good fats.
