Menu – Week 3

Introducing Allergens

This week looking to introduce sardines to the menu. You can read all about them and how to serve here

0.02% of the population is allergic to finned fish, please talk to your pediatrician before starting allergens. What to do, how to start them. Keep children’s Benadryl nearby etc. 

We started by putting the allergen on our sons lip at first to see any signs of reaction. Waiting up to 30 minutes. Then the next day we would give him a very little piece and wait. Finally we would give him a large piece and wait and see. You can read more here.

Week 3 Menu

Monday

Asparagus heads and avocado puree. Test sardines on lips. 

Tuesday

Leeks and Potato recipe and avocado to puree. Try small piece of sardine.

Wednesday

Broccoli and avocado puree. Full piece of sardine. 

Thursday

Potato puree 

Steam a potato and puree with olive oil

Egg introduction – put a piece of egg on lips

Egg Omlet – break whole egg and fry omlet in olive oil on skillet. 

Friday

Steam broccoli and avocado puree

Small piece of omlet.

Saturday

Potato puree with olive oil

Omlet strip

Sunday
